Last year during a conversation with my partner, I came up with the idea of only reading Queer Lit or Queer Authors for 1 year. What better day to start then my birthday? So on August 26, 2024 I started this little passion project. In the past year it has become so much more then that. I have read over 80 books, and have had the pleasure of meeting so many new characters. But the part of me has been getting to meet some of the most amazing authors that my path probably would have never crossed, if I didn’t diversify my reading in this way.
For the 1 year anniversary of the Year of Queer Lit, I am hosting a stuff your kindle day. On August 26th, we will have a whole list of books that have either been discounted to free or $.99 for fellow readers. So far I have over 80 books ready, and we are still accepting applications.
